Greetings from Kentucky!

Welcome to what I hope will be the first of many stories, insights and lessons which I have learned just from living my life. Some will be old memories, some new. Some will be exciting, some sweetly normal. Some may revolve around what is going on in the world around us at the moment and perhaps controversial. Most will have my love of God woven thru them since it is my belief that God can be seen in everything if only we choose to look. Ever since I was a very young girl, I have been acutely aware that God let me see things differently that most people did. At times I have felt this a blessing, other times I prayed that I could just see things like everybody else. But over time I have come to embrace being oddly different and have come to a deeply rooted belief that as in all things God has a purpose for how I view the world.

This same deeply rooted belief is actually the reason for the chosen title for this blog. I thru what is now many years of experience and a close relationship with Christ, do not believe in luck, coincidence or chance. No I believe that everything that happens in our life happens for a reason and is divinely orchestrated by God for a specific purpose. A purpose which only He knows the why of.

It is my sincerest hope that thru sharing my life, I will make you laugh, cry and perhaps make you think about something you have never before given a thought to. You may not agree with everything I write or think, but honestly would the world not be a boring place if we all saw things only black or white? If there was no color or different way of seeing things but our own? And if you don’t agree with me on something, I want very much to hear your thoughts, (as long as they are without abusive language or name calling). Chances are that I can learn something from you or perhaps think about something in a new light that I might not otherwise think. We can think differently and debate a topic in love and without violence.

Until we meet here again, I pray God bless you and keep you and your loved ones safe.
