The last few days we here in Kentucky been experiencing a bit of a cool down. While the days have been in the low eighties the nights have been dipping down to around sixty making for some rather chilly mornings and good sleeping weather. It is August weather like this that reminds us that fall is on the way.
With that in mind, I have added three recipes today which are but a preview of the fall dishes that
we will soon be preparing for our families. I invite you to direct your attention to the recipe page of this blog where you will find all these recipes. First under the Baked Goods section you will find my recipe for Honey Pecan Pie which is has bit of a twist on traditional Pecan Pie. Then under the Soups and Stews category you will find my recipe for Bean and Bacon soup which is a ringer for the famous Campbell's Soup version. And lastly under Fruits and Vegetables you will find a delicious but simple recipe for Roasted Potatoes.
I hope you will try some of these recipes and if you do I would love to hear how you liked them. And remember if you have any recipes you would like to share with all of us, please send them along and I will post them with your name.
Until we meet here again, I pray God bless you and keep your loved ones safe.
