Although it seems hardly possible, it is time already to take down the spring/summer decorations and replace them with the fall. And while not just yet time for the pumpkins, we have the mums outside on the porch and I have put up the fall wreaths and flowers in the house.
Since I have been busier than usual today, I decided to make one of our favorite soup recipes for supper. Truth be told, Jackie and I love soup any time for the year and we eat a lot of it. Other than loving the way they taste, I love soup because it is also economical and healthy. Plus it combines all the elements of a meal in one pot, who doesn't love that? Plus there are all sorts of ways you can dress it up with toppings and sides such as corn bread, biscuits, toasted cheese sandwiches or garlic bread.
I am posting my recipe for White Chicken Chili on the Soups and Stews category on the recipe page of the blog. Hey, if you are at a loss for something to fix tonight for supper you may want to give it a try.
Until we meet here again, I pray God bless you and keep your loved ones safe.
