The weather we are having here in Kentucky today is but a foretaste of the weather that lies ahead of us in the months to come. I always look forward to the fall season, there is just so much to love. The beauty of the changing colors on the trees, pumpkins, fall decorations, hay rides and bonfires. The chill in the air provides the opportunity you have been waiting for to put away your summer wardrobe and pull out your warmer clothes and I have saved the best for last; the baking!
Today I have posted on the Recipes page of the blog under Baked Goods a delicious and ridiculously easy recipes for Apple Corn Bread Crisp. It's made with just a few ingredients which more than likely you have on hand; if you have everything but the corn bread, I previously posted the recipe for my version of a batch of Jiffy cornbread mix under the Mixes category.
If you have time, give this recipe a try for dessert tonight. I think you and your family will love it! Well, I am headed to the eye doctor, something which I have put off for quite some time. The last time I had my eyes checked and got new glasses was nine years ago, the day before Jackie and I married. I think it's about time!
Until we meet here again, I pray God bless you and keep your loved ones safe.
