Homemade Pizza Crust



  • 1 1/3 cup bread flour

  • 1 3/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 2 teaspoons yeast

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2/3 cup warm water


Mix all dry ingredients.  Mix in wet ingredients and mix well.  Place dough in a medium size oiled bowl and cover.  Let sit for 45 minutes or until doubled.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Pat dough out on a greased cookie sheet or pizza pan.  Pre-bake dough for approximately 3 minutes.  Remove from oven and add pizza sauce and desired toppings.  Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
