What a GLORIOUS day it is. The sun is shining, the sky bright vivid blue and the temperature....ah to go outside without a coat and shiver. The birds are singing and the squirrels along with all the other animals have an extra spring in their step.
I know it's much to early to have spring fever, but truth be told I come down with it each year right after the Christmas holidays have passed. But on days like today it's all I can do to keep myself out of garden as I yearn to plant flowers and vegetable seeds that will turn into food that will grace our table and nourish our bodies. To walk in the grass barefoot and feel the sun upon my face.
Yes I know I have quite a while to wait for spring to arrive. And yes I realize that the possibility of snow and ice and bitter cold temperatures remains and I know the wood stove has not seen it's last fire of the year. But spring is much closer than it was six weeks ago. In the meantime enjoy this incredible, wonderful gift from God.
Until we meet here again, I pray God bless you and keep your loved ones safe.
